A Look Through The Kaleidoscope
Kaleidoscope Theatre Company is a New Orleans-based theatre company reimagining the stage as a prism of possibility. We aim to refract the light of queer creativity into reimagined classical works, touchstones of the queer theatrical canon, and bold new plays.
We tell our stories with authenticity and autonomy, taking part in a long tradition of using the stage as a place for marginalized voices to define themselves.
What happens onstage is only part of the story.

We make theatre that reflects who we are. From staples of the queer canon like "The Maids" to reimagined classics and bold new plays, our productions challenge audiences to see the world through a more expansive lens
Creative Services
Through programs like Sew What, we offer workshops and opportunities for connection. Participants learn new skills, share stories, and build community through the simple act of making something together.
Community Events
Whether it’s Drag Kickball, a cabaret, or another signature fundraiser, we bring people together to laugh, play, and support queer art. These events raise money for our work and strengthen the joyful community we all need right now.
